Academic Excellence in Jewish & General Studies

From Talmud to Shakespeare, our courses challenge students of every interest and level. Every day we offer more than 250 sections of courses focusing on Judaic and general studies. Combined, the courses provide a well-rounded and intellectually stimulating college preparatory education, helping Academy students develop critical thinking, creativity and a lifelong love of learning.

At the Academy, small class sizes ensure that all students receive individual attention and personal guidance from their teachers. That’s why we’re able to tailor the academic course load to each individual—whether a student seeks advanced study on the college level or specialized study. Our JELI Scholars Program offers students college courses taught by Loyola University professors on site. And our distance-learning program—via videoconference or virtual online courses—provides students with access to courses and teachers around the world.

The Academy is accredited by the State of Illinois and the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement.
