Academy Aces Athletics

Whether it is basketball or wrestling, the Ida Crown Jewish Academy Aces are known throughout the country as formidable competitors. And at national sports tournaments, parents, teachers and students travel far distances to support our men and women athletes. In 2008, the Aces won the YU Sarachek Basketball Tournament for the first time in the school’s history and our wrestlers won the 2008 YU Henry Wittenberg Wrestling Invitational.

Our intramural sports, junior varsity and senior varsity teams attract male and female athletes of all different skill levels. We currently offer nine interscholastic athletic teams, including: boys' and girls' cross country, girls’ soccer, boys’ baseball, wrestling, and girls’ and boys’ junior varsity and varsity basketball teams.
