Travel & RetreatsAcademy students take advantage of numerous travel opportunities every year. Our students join thousands of other Jewish high school students in Washington, D.C. for Panim el Panim, a program that focuses on political advocacy and current issues. Other students join the annual Yeshiva University Eimatai Leadership Training Conference, and our athletes travel to national tournaments that all include Shabbatonim. In addition to that, school retreats are a phenomenal opportunity to strengthen the relationships and friendships that students and faculty share. Through uplifting Shabbatonim and other bonding experience, students grow from experiencing new and different opportunities together and from seeing their teachers outside of the classroom. Boys’ and girls’ Shabbatonim are held annually at Camp Chi, near the Wisconsin Dells. Israel TravelMany Academy students participate in Netivot—a tremendous opportunity to spend part of the Academic sophomore year in Israel. Students live and study with Israelis during the last quarter of their 10th grade year.Academy students biannually also join the March of the Living, a trip to Poland and Israel during Yom HaShoah and Yom HaAtzmaut. |
