What year did you make aliyah and how old were you?

1987 . I was 38.

Did your experience in high school influence your decision to make aliyah and if so, how?

During my high school years, I was active in Bnei Akiva.

Did you serve in the IDF or in sheirut leumi? If so, what was that like?
I tried to get into the IDF, but I was too old.

What was your path to aliyah like?

During my post-high school year on Bnei Akiva Hachshara in Kibbutz Yavneh, I made the decision to come on aliyah.

What has been the most rewarding about living in Israel?

I feel every day that I am home.

What is the most challenging part of making aliyah?

Getting used to a different mentality.
