This past summer has been a very difficult and trying time for the Jewish people as we have faced war in Israel and renewed outbreaks of anti-Semitism around the world.

As a result, while we are very excited to begin a new school year, as an institution that cherishes our connections to Israel and to world Jewry, we feel strongly that we can’t just begin a new school year without recognizing the changing reality in which we now live.

Therefore, while our first day schedule will remain the same, this year we will be dedicating most of the morning to a “Yom Iyun” about Israel. Following first period, our students will hear from representative of AIPAC, the Israel Consulate and Our Soldiers Speak, and will learn not only about what has and is happening in Israel, but also about things that they can do to support Israel.

Together, with our entire Jewish world, we pray for peace and security in Israel.
