Speaking to seniors on Yom HaAtzmaut, Consul General Roey Gilad echoed a sentiment felt by everyone today who experienced or witnessed the celebration: “When you think of the school that is a powerhouse in supporting Israel, it is Ida Crown.”

We couldn’t have said it better ourselves.

Our students leave high school feeling passionately connected to Israel – thrilled to spend their gap year (or 2!) there, equipped to defend Israel on sometimes hostile campuses and committed to supporting Israel for a lifetime. We accomplish this through lessons in the everyday classroom, our outstanding Hebrew courses, our senior course on Israel advocacy and of course, our special programming.

No doubt Yom HaAtzmaut is the most monumental–and of course, fun–days of high school for most ICJA students.
