Dear ICJA Family:

I know it’s Sunday, and there have been no class sessions since my erev Shabbat update, but there are a few things to share:

  1. Student Council Mask Project! I’ve often said, that the best thing about Ida Crown are our students. Once again they’ve proven it, as ICJA Student Council is raising money for the chesed organizations of Chicago via sales of ICJA face masks.   2. Monday’s schedule is as follows

Period 2: 9:30 – 10:10a.

Period 3: 10:15 – 10:55a.

Period 4: 11:00 – 11:40a.

Break

Period 10: 1:00 -1:40p.

Period 11: 1:45 – 2:25p.

Period 12: 2:30 – 3:10p.

  1. Yom HaZikaron and Yom HaAtzmaut
  2. On Monday and Tuesday nights, our YU Torah MiTzion Kollel will be hosting two communal events, bith at 8pm. Monday night – a Yom HaZikaron ceremony, and Tuesday night – a
    Yom HaAtzmaut event together with Bnei Akiva. Both events will be broadcast on the Kollel YouTube channel – www.youtube.com/user/kollel613.

    b. On Tuesday morning, ICJA will have our annual Yom HaZikaron program featuring remarks by R’ Ephraim Rimel at 9:30 am – CLICK HERE

  3. On Wednesday morning join us for a fantastic Yom HaAtzmaut celebration with Rabbanit Racheli Frankel, Consul General Aviv Ezra and a concert with singing sensation Ishay Ribo
    from 10-11:45 on FACEBOOK LIVE!

    During the day, we will also have a “Family Feud – Israel Style” game for our students with prizes and more. Contestants will be chosen from students who are dressed in blue and white. Students, please get dressed for the celebration and the fun! (The zoom link for students will be sent tomorrow).

  4. On the subject of Family Feud, congratulations to the Stein Family (including the Nussbaums and the Goltzes) on winning the big prize on Family Feud!
  5. The 10th grade is invited to a Town Hall Meeting with Rabbi Matanky – Monday @ 12noon – boys; Thursday @12noon – girls. Here is the link for both meetings.
