What year did you make aliyah and how old were you?

I was not yet 18 -1978

Did your experience in high school influence your decision to make aliyah and if so, how?

My high school experience enhanced my desire to take part in the history of the Jewish People again coming to life.

What was your path to aliyah like?

My path to Aliya was meaningful but also a struggle. I felt enveloped by my love for the land and for the people, while connecting to the Tora in a wholesome way.

What has been the most rewarding about living in Israel?

It is very hard to pinpoint the MOST rewarding, I guess it is knowing that I am part of something bigger than myself and that will only grow!!

What is the most challenging part of making aliyah?

The challenges of language (which my education at the Academy certainly aided me), and leaving people who I love and respect behind.

Where do you live now?

I live in the hills of the Shomrom – in a settlement called Eli

What do you do professionally?

I am a nurse
