Penina Benjamin ’26 Wins 1st Place in National Chidon HaTanach!
ICJA’s Chidon HaTanach team racked up a clutch of victories – including 1st Place – in this year’s Chidon HaTanach Nationals. Every single member of ICJA’s team qualified for the Nationals, which was a significant achievement.
Senior Penina Benjamin won 1st Place in the entire country!
Sophomore Emily Adler placed 8th in the nation. Freshman Arielle Martin Shafrir came in 20th place and junior Ayelet Klein placed 23rd. ICJA’s wins are even more significant given that our students prepare for this competition as part of a club while many other schools have actual class time devoted to this preparation.
Yasher koach on these remarkable wins! Thank you to our entire team for all your hard work and to faculty advisor Mrs. Rachel Polsky.
