Dr. Kahan is responsible for the Judaic and general studies curricula. Prior to joining the Academy in 2005, he served as director of the Teaching Fellowship Program at the Rabbi Joseph B. Soloveitchik Institute. Dr. Kahan is a graduate of Harvard University, where he also earned a master’s degree in education. He went on to receive a doctorate in mathematics education from the University of Maryland and was an assistant professor in the University of Minnesota’s Department of Curriculum and Instruction.
