Mrs. Marlene Wasserstrom

Mrs. Wasserstrom has a Mathematics. B.S., University of Illinois. She took graduate courses in mathematics at IIT while teaching at Senn High School in Chicago. Mrs. Wasserstrom has written mathematics textbooks and supplementary materials as well as curriculum and testing materials. She has worked as a math consultant for the Associated Talmud Torahs of Chicago and the Arie Crown Hebrew Day School. Mrs. Wasserstrom is dedicated to providing a firm foundation in mathematics to students with special learning needs and initiated the program for that purpose at several schools. She also worked as a consultant and mentor to the teachers at the Jewish Children’s Bureau Therapeutic School. She began at the Academy in 1975.
