Mrs. Nurit Rajstein was born in Tel Aviv and grew up in Buenos Aires and Jerusalem. She graduated summa cum laude from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem with a combined Bachelor of Arts degree in Jewish History and Bible Studies. She also received an Education degree and teaching certification. Additionally, Mrs. Rajstein received a Masters degree with honors in Library Sciences from the The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. While in Jerusalem she was a research librarian at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem Law School.

Upon arriving in Chicago, Nurit directed a program at Spertus College library. She has been teaching Hebrew, Tanach and Jewish History at Bernard Zell Anshe Emet Day School. She is fluent in three languages, has a love for music and is a life long traveler with her family.
