Avigail Levinson, ’07

Avigail, a student who was always involved in events and clubs at Ida Crown, graduated in 2007, and then went on to attend Midreshet Moriah and Stern College for Woman. She married and moved to Atlanta. While in Atlanta she did what she always did, helping the community. For instance, she started a day camp because they did not have an Orthodox Jewish day camp there. After a short time in Atlanta, she moved back to Chicago and now resides in West Rogers Park with her husband and 5 children.

Even as a busy wife, mom and mortgage broker Avigail still finds time to volunteer for her community. Between cooking for her community at The Chicago Center Kitchen and Bikur Cholim or as a Basketball coach for Upward and ICJA, she somehow finds time to still do it all. 

She notes that giving back to her community was something instilled in her from a young age by her mother.
