Sara, who graduated from Ida Crown in 2019, spent her “5th” year of Ida Crown at Michlelet Mevaseret Yerushalayim until Covid hit when she came home.  She then went back for Shana Bet.  Sara is attending Stern College for Women, studying Jewish Education.

When Sara is not studying or completing her student teaching hours, she is working with youth groups or volunteering. She is currently Head Advisor for Boston NCSY where her responsibilities range from training to attending events. She also volunteers for the Upper West Side Chabad House. While in high school Saras was president of CTeen for four years and to this day still is helping new leadership as well as chaperoning events in New York.

Even with everything else going on she still has time to work with the Chabad club at Stern College as well as a Madricha for Michlelet Mevaseret Yerushalayim at Stern.

Sara found much of her inspiration to live of life of giving from her Judaic teachers at Ida Crown as well as her Chabad Rabbi and Rebbetzin. She believes you must give back and seek out important relationships. She explains “you always need to fuel and nourish your relationships so you can continue to give that forward to the next person” In simple terms you can’t pour from an empty cup.
