Class of 2026 attends JUF’s 125th Annual Meeting
On Thursday, September 11, 2025, the ICJA Class of 2026 joined hundreds of Chicago Jewish community leaders at the Jewish United Fund’s 125th Annual Meeting at the Sheraton Grand Chicago Riverwalk downtown. Students enjoyed a fun breakfast as they learned about the JUF’s broad range of programs in Chicago and around the world, including supporting our own school. Students celebrated the many community professionals celebrated at this event, including Donna W. Kahan, who was active in ICJA’s capital campaigns in the past, and who received the 62nd annual Julius Rosenwald Memorial Award.
Students also applauded the work of Lisa Gelles and Douglas H. London, who received the Davis, Gidwitz & Glasser Young Leadership Award and Micah Ariel-Rohr and Tori Gruber who received the Samuel A. Goldsmith Young Professional Award. Our students enjoyed hearing updates about the JUF’s work from Lonnie Nasatir, President of the JUF, from Wendy C, Abrams, JUF Board Chair, and many other local leaders. Thank you to the JUF for leading our Chicago Jewish community and for including us in this event.
