Open House for Prospective Students
Last night, approximately 120 prospective students and their parents attended ICJA’s annual Open House. Students heard from teachers, administrators, and a panel of current students who answered questions about ICJA, ranging from how much homework they typically have to what advice they’d give middle school students thinking of coming to Ida Crown.
Guests then attended shiurim given by one of our stellar Judaic teachers: Rabbi Menachem Rosenbaum, Rabbi Mayer simcha Stromer, Mrs. Lynn Kraft, and Mrs. Noa Nussbaum. Afterwards, guests attended a choice of two mini-classes given by our department chairs and other teachers. The evening concluded with a fantastic Club Hub, where student leaders of various clubs were on hand to tell future Aces about their activities and answer questions.
Thank you to seniors Caley Gordon, Aaron Katz, and Rivky Belsh, juniors Ariella Titievsky and Megill Hamieri, sophomores Ari Shyovitz, Dana Stein, and Michal Belsh, and freshmen Asher Gelerinter and Isabella Navakas for appearing on our student panel. Thank you to all our student ambassadors, club and team leaders, our teachers, and administrators – particularly Director of Admissions Suzy Nussbaum, for making this year’s Open House the best one yet.
