Driver’s Ed

The cost is $295 + a $5 service fee

Dear Parents and Students,

ICJA’s spring 2021 drivers’ education program will be taught at the Academy by the Illinois Driving School from January 27th – June 2nd. The class will meet virtually on Wednesday from 6:30pm – 8pm. Enrollment is open to the first 35 students to register and pay.

The Illinois Driving School offers a certified High School Teen Driver Education Program consisting of 30 hours of virtual classroom instruction, 6 hours of driving time and 6 hours of observation. This course will fulfill the necessary requirements for a 15, 16 or 17 year old student in the State of Illinois to obtain a driver’s license. This year, parents are responsible for taking their child to obtain their driver’s permit. Parents, please note that the Secretary of State has a Student Permit Fee of $20.

The Illinois Driving School has been in business for more than 35 years and they have a reputation for teaching students how to pay attention, how to handle a car and how to make good decisions.
The Illinois Driving School Teen Program offers a discounted rate of  $295 per participant. The deadline to submit your payment is Friday, January 8th. The online price includes a $5 convenience fee.

The link for the virtual class and class materials will be provided in the coming weeks.

To pay by check, please see Mr. London in the Front Office. Please make checks payable to ICJA.
