What year did you make aliyah and how old were you?

1968 at 23 years old

Did your experience in high school influence your decision to make aliyah and if so, how?

As a Madricha in Bnei Akiva, and Hachshara in 1963-4.

What was your path to aliyah like?

My friends from Chicago went to Kibbutz Yavneh, I went to Jerusalem to study for MA.

What has been the most rewarding about living in Israel?

Meeting and marrying my husband Yehuda. Raising our six children.

What is the most challenging part of making aliyah?

Making ends meet.

Where do you live now?

Beer Sheva

What do you do professionally?

Teach English at Academic Engineering College in Beer Sheva

What is your advice for our students today?

Get your eduction in the states first and then come on Aliyah.
