Alumni Race in Jerusalem

Thousands of children are diagnosed with different kinds of cancer every year. One organization that helps these children get through this experience is Chai Lifeline. They help children feel normal, whether it is by going to a summer camp or getting them out of the hospital for a few hours. One way in which my family and I wanted to help these children was by raising money and running in the Israel Jerusalem Marathon with their organization. This experience showed me that just like these children can get through life with this burden, so too I can go through a few hours of pain.
