Ms. Goldstein Finalist in Distinguished Teacher Award

We are proud to announce that Ms. Sheri Goldstein, longtime ICJA English teacher, was selected as a finalist for the Distinguished Secondary Teacher Award by the Northwestern University and the Distinguished Secondary Teacher Award Committee. For the next level of the contest, Ms. Goldstein will be interviewed in early March by members of the Distinguished Secondary Teacher Award (DSTA) Selection Committee. Four or five outstanding teachers will be recognized during the Northwestern 2016 Commencement activities and receive a cash award.

Teachers from across the country are nominated by graduating seniors from Northwestern University for this tremendous honor. Ms. Goldstein was nominated by Yair Sakols (’11), who is a senior at Northwestern. We are so proud to call Ms. Goldstein our own.
