Dear ICJA Community:

I am sure you aware of schools that are closing and meetings of doctors, rabbis, and educators that are taking place in our community.

ICJA remains committed to following the recommendations of the Board of Health and other government bodies. We are in regular contact not only with our local authorities but also with communities and colleagues across the nation who are doing their best to address the challenges of the pandemic.

As of now, ICJA remains open, but we are also preparing for what would happen if we are advised to close. Yesterday, all ICJA student ipads had the Zoom app installed, which we hope to use if we need to deliver content remotely. In addition, we have stepped up efforts to maintain hygiene in our facility and have proactively requested anyone showing any symptoms to please leave school and seek medical attention.

This outbreak is an unprecedented event, and we understand the concern that many have for what will happen next. Unfortunately, only G-d knows those answers. Therefore, in addition to all of our efforts to safeguard our students and vigilantly prepare for different eventualities, we must also pray to the Ribbono Shel Olam that He grant all those affected a speedy recovery and bring an end to this terrible pandemic.

Please stay safe, follow the recommendations of health professionals and have a Shabbat shalom,

Sincerely,

LAM
