Dear ICJA Family:
Yesterday’s virtual dinner was an amazing success! Over 400 people were in attendance and the videos were inspiring and touching. Thank you once again to our honorees, Mrs. Shelley, Stopek, Debbie and Dr. David Dobkin and to the Bernstein family for letting us honor the memory of Sam Bernstein, z”l. But that wasn’t the only success. Because yesterday more than 35 students gathered for a meeting of Israel Advocacy Club, and this evening more than 75 families tuned into our first Parent Town Hall Meeting (for those who missed it, here is the video icja.us/parent03312020)
Tomorrow night, will be another fun program for our students – ICJA Virtual Let’s Make A Deal @ 8:30. Students who are in costume or inICJA swag will be eligible to compete for prizes from gift certificates to area restaurants, to a grand prize of apple airpods. https://zoom.us/j/786198149
Third quarter grades are submitted and being reviewed, and report cards should be out well be Pesach. Which reminds me that Thursday night at 8:30, some of our teachers, students and alumni will be presenting a special Mishmar with divrei Torah for the seder. We will also have a special guest Rabbi Aaron Leibtag as one of the presenters. More information to follow.
